RAWALPINDI: The post-mortem report of 45-year-old Hina Javed, who was found dead in Rawalpindi, has revealed multiple injuries to her body, including a fractured neck bone. However, the preliminary examination has not yet established the definitive cause of death.

According to the post-mortem report, Hina suffered a fracture to a bone in her neck, while injuries were also found on her ribs and hip bone. The report further noted the presence of blood around the heart.

The post-mortem examination was conducted by Dr Maria Khalid approximately 12 hours after Hina’s death. DNA samples were collected from the deceased and sent to a forensic laboratory for further analysis.

As the preliminary examination failed to determine the precise cause of death, additional samples obtained during the autopsy have also been forwarded to the laboratory for detailed forensic testing.

Police have arrested Hina’s husband and a domestic worker on suspicion of involvement in her death and obtained three-day physical remand from the court.

The post-mortem report and forensic samples were received by Lady Constable Rafia Tabassum.

A murder case has been registered at the Civil Lines Police Station on the complaint of Hina’s brother, Fahad Javed. Further investigation is underway, while authorities are awaiting the results of the forensic analysis to establish the exact circumstances and cause of her death.
