ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chief Commissioner has filed an application before the Supreme Court seeking an early hearing of a review petition against the apex court’s August 18 order concerning the transfer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan from Adiala Jail to a hospital.

The application seeks an early hearing of the review petition filed against the Supreme Court’s August 18 order and requests the court to review, amend and withdraw the order.

The Chief Commissioner has also challenged the directives for shifting Imran Khan from Adiala Jail to a private hospital and for his medical examination and treatment by a medical panel.

The development comes after the Supreme Court ordered that Imran Khan be shifted to Shifa Hospital and directed that his sister and personal physician be included in the panel of doctors.
