Flash floods and torrential water flows have caused widespread destruction across several areas of Diamer district, while heavy rainfall in Thor has created flood conditions at more than six locations.

Flood debris entered residential homes, while agricultural land, standing crops, and trees were washed away. The Thor link road has been blocked at several points, suspending traffic, while electricity supply has also been disrupted.

Thirteen dump trucks belonging to a private company, one excavator, one crushing plant, and two water tankers were swept away by the floodwaters.

In Khunbari, agricultural land, crops, trees, and the link road suffered extensive damage due to the flooding.

In Bonar Das, flooding forced the closure of the Karakoram Highway for all types of traffic. Passenger vehicles, cargo trucks, and tourists have been stranded. The power distribution system in the affected areas has been severely disrupted, with electricity suspended in several localities since late at night.
