The preliminary post-mortem report has been released in the case of a mother and her three children who were found dead in Lahore’s Valencia Town area.
According to ARY News, the post-mortem examinations of the mother and the three children have been completed, and the bodies have been handed over to the police.
The initial post-mortem report stated that the mother and the children died from poisoning. It also found traces of vomit on the clothes of two of the children.
Police said it will be determined in the final report whether the four victims were deliberately poisoned or whether they died after consuming a poisonous substance.

Earlier, the children’s father, Nasir, stated that his wife had been suffering from mental stress and psychological illness for the past three years and had stopped taking her medication six months ago.
He expressed concern that due to her mental condition, she might have mixed something into ice cream and given it to the children.
Police officials said the case is highly complex and is being investigated from multiple angles.
The incident came to light a day earlier when the bodies of the three children were recovered from the house, while their mother later died at a hospital
