A case of electricity theft has been registered against senior politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi.

Police officials said that a case has also been registered against Javed Hashmi’s son-in-law, Zahid Bahar, and Makhdoom Shahzeb Hashmi on charges of electricity theft.

Reacting to the registration of the case, Javed Hashmi said that as many false cases as they wanted could be filed against him, but he would not seek bail.
