Actress Shama Naz Assaulted During Stage Play in Sheikhupura, Police Register FIR

Police have registered a case on the complaint of actress Shama Naz following an unpleasant incident that took place during a stage drama in Sheikhupura and have launched a search for the suspect.

According to police, the incident occurred while the stage play was in progress when a young man allegedly forced his way onto the stage. In her complaint, Shama Naz stated that the man assaulted her as soon as he came onto the stage, disrupting the performance and leaving those present at the venue shocked.

The actress further stated that when her driver stepped forward to protect her, the suspect also slapped him and behaved in an abusive manner. She alleged that the suspect made an inappropriate demand, which she refused. According to her, the young man became enraged after she rejected his demand and resorted to violence.

Police said that during the initial investigation, the suspect was identified as Raja Zain. City A Division Police Station has registered a case on the actress’s complaint, and raids are being conducted at various locations to arrest the suspect.

According to police officials, all aspects of the incident are being examined. CCTV footage installed at the theatre is also being obtained to establish the complete facts surrounding the incident.

Law enforcement authorities said that the suspect will be arrested soon and legal action will be taken against him in accordance with the law. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
