LAHORE: An FIR has been registered against the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sarwar Road Police Station, Muhammad Irfan, along with 11 other police officials, after they were suspended for allegedly conducting a raid on the house of the brother of a senior government figure based on incorrect information and registering what authorities described as a false case.

According to police sources, SHO Sarwar Road Muhammad Irfan carried out the raid after obtaining permission from the SP Cantt. However, following the raid, a case was allegedly registered on false grounds.

The sources said that Sub-Inspector Mushtaq filed the FIR against SHO Irfan and the other officials over allegations of registering a false case and misuse of authority.
