ISLAMABAD: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Field Marshal Asim Munir to discuss the latest regional situation.
According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, Araghchi condemned the recent U.S. attacks during the conversation, describing them as a violation of the United Nations Charter and the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
The Iranian foreign minister said that if U.S. authorities fail to abide by the agreement, it would represent a continuation of Washington’s war policies.
Araghchi also warned that if the United States carries out further military action, Iran will not back down from defending its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security.
