ISLAMABAD: All motorways that were closed will be reopened for traffic tomorrow morning, the Motorway Police spokesperson said.

According to the spokesperson, all motorways, including M-1, M-14 and E-35, will be reopened for traffic from 6am tomorrow.

Traffic will resume on the M-1 Peshawar Motorway, M-14 Islamabad-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway and E-35 Hazara Motorway, among other routes. Citizens will be able to travel on these highways as usual after 6am tomorrow.

The major highways had been closed in view of security arrangements for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest.

The closure of the M-1, M-14, E-35 and other key highways was linked to security arrangements for the protest and long march announced by the PTI in Islamabad for September 27.
