Six Die as Passenger Bus Falls into Deep Ravine in Murree

Six people died and several others were injured after a passenger bus fell into a deep ravine in the Lower Barian Lairan Tain area of Murree.

According to rescue officials, more than 20 passengers were travelling on the bus. Rescue teams from Murree were dispatched to the site as soon as the accident was reported, while additional personnel were also called in view of the nature of the incident.

Rescue officials said the seriously injured were shifted to hospitals, while several other injured passengers are receiving treatment at Civil Hospital Murree.

Two girls from the same family also died in the accident, while their mother and brother sustained serious injuries.

According to rescue officials, Civil Hospital Murree was placed on alert in view of the emergency situation.
