Islamabad Walking and Hiking Trails to Remain Closed on August 13

ISLAMABAD: The District Magistrate has issued a notification regarding the closure of walking and hiking trails in Islamabad.

According to the notification, Trails 2, 3, 4 and 5 will remain closed on August 13, 2026.

The trail located behind Saidpur Village will also remain closed to the public on August 13.

A copy of the notification has been sent to the Inspector General of Police, the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), and other relevant authorities.

The District Magistrate has also informed the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board and the CDA about the closure of the trails.
