U.S. President Donald Trump has sent a draft agreement with Iran to Israel and other allied countries, according to a report by the British newspaper The Guardian.
The report said the proposed agreement includes clauses related to reopening the Strait of Hormuz and lifting the U.S. blockade.
Under the memorandum of understanding, Iran would be given access to its $12 billion in frozen assets. The draft also proposes restoring the Strait of Hormuz to its pre-war level within 30 days.
The United States has set a condition that Iran will not collect taxes from ships. The agreement also includes a restriction preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
During a 60-day ceasefire, negotiations will be held on highly enriched uranium.
According to the British newspaper, China wants the final approval of the agreement to be given by the United Nations.
