President Asif Ali Zardari has said that all stakeholders will be taken along to run the country and strengthen the system.
Speaking during a conversation, the president said, “We will take everyone along to run the country, and we will strengthen everyone’s hands.”
He said his party had always worked under the 1973 Constitution and would continue to carry forward the legacy of Bhutto.
Referring to the war with India, President Zardari said Pakistan had inflicted a “worst defeat” on India and had shot down eight Indian aircraft. He also said that no drone had fallen on his house in Islamabad.
President Zardari said, “We will all strengthen the hands of the establishment together,” adding that the matter was about the country and that running the country was the real issue.
He said people often asked how he understood the country’s problems. “I want to tell people that a PhD is completed in three years, but I did a PhD for 14 years,” he said.
