Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that Pakistan will ensure the elimination of proxies working against the country and that the nation’s journey toward development and prosperity will reach its destination.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Command and Staff College in Quetta, where he was received by the Commander Quetta Corps.
During the visit, the Field Marshal appreciated the college’s high level of professionalism and excellent training standards. He stressed the need for officers to equip themselves in line with modern trends in warfare and urged them to maintain consistency and high standards in their training affairs.
Addressing the students and faculty of the college, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said Pakistan has to achieve a prominent position in the world. He said the armed forces, with the support of the people, are ready to defeat every form of terrorism.
He said Pakistan’s journey toward prosperity cannot be stopped through propaganda and proxies. He added that proxies operating against the country will be eliminated, and Pakistan’s path to development and prosperity will reach its destination. He said sustainable development would help ensure prosperity for the people.
The Field Marshal further said that peace and stability in Balochistan are extremely important. He said public welfare, inclusive development and better governance are essential for peace and stability in the province.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also praised the Balochistan government’s efforts for public welfare, socio-economic development and strengthening the relationship between the state and the people. He also appreciated the role of the forces in maintaining peace, stability and the writ of the state in Balochistan.
