Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who was heading to meet PTI founder chairman Imran Khan, was stopped at Chungi No. 26 in Islamabad, leading to a heated exchange with Islamabad Police.
During the exchange with police officials, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said, “You want to break Pakistan. Why are you stopping the representative of 45 million people?”
The chief minister asked a police officer to open the route. PTI workers accompanying him chanted “shame, shame” slogans.
Police placed containers at Chungi No. 26, while the barriers caused serious difficulties for passengers coming from the airport. Due to continuous disruption in the flow of traffic, long queues of vehicles also began forming on the motorway.

Meanwhile, the scheduled time for meetings with the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi at Adiala Jail ended. No family member reached Adiala Jail to meet the PTI founder, and according to the meeting list, no leader arrived either.
According to the meeting list, the names of Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja and Changez Khan Kakar had been sent. The names of Intizar Panjutha, Ali Rehman and Ali Ijaz Buttar were also included in the list.
It is worth mentioning that last week, Sohail Afridi had threatened to adopt a strict approach if a meeting was not arranged.

The district administration had already declared Adiala Jail a red zone. Political convoys, rallies and protests are not allowed outside Adiala Jail, and legal action will be taken over any violation of Section 144.
The PTI founder’s sisters and Sohail Afridi had called on workers to reach Adiala Jail today.
