LAHORE: The Punjab government has constituted the 16-member Board of the Punjab Film City Authority and issued an official notification in this regard.
According to the notification, the Senior Minister of Punjab has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Board, while the Minister for Information and Culture has been designated as a member. The Chairman of the Planning and Development Board will serve as the Vice Chairperson.
The notification states that MPA Amina Hassan, MPA Sarah Ahmed, secretaries of various government departments, and personalities associated with the film and media industry have been appointed as members of the Board.

The board members include MPA Sahibzada Muhammad Ghazin Abbasi, MPA Amina Hassan, MPA Sarah Ahmed, Secretary Finance Punjab, Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs Punjab, Secretary Information and Culture Punjab, Secretary Implementation and Coordination Wing, S&GAD, Nadeem Mandviwalla, Vaneeza Ahmad, Aitzaz Aslam Chaudhry, Amara S. Gondal, and Dr. Fawad Baig.
The Chief Executive of the Punjab Film City Authority will serve as both a board member and the Secretary of the Authority.
According to the notification, the Board has been constituted for a three-year term under Section 3 of the Punjab Film City Authority Act, 2026, and the decision has come into effect immediately.
