The individual awards for the FIFA World Cup 2026 were announced following the tournament final, with players from newly crowned world champions Spain securing major honors.
Spain midfielder Rodri was awarded the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player in recognition of his outstanding all-round performances. Meanwhile, Spain goalkeeper Unai Simón received the Golden Glove award after being named the tournament’s best goalkeeper.
Spain’s young defender Pau Cubarsí was named the Best Young Player, winning the Young Player Award for his impressive performances throughout the competition.
On the other hand, France star forward Kylian Mbappé claimed the Golden Boot after scoring 10 goals during the tournament. He also became the first player to win the Golden Boot twice.
