RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will pass only a three-month budget paper.
Speaking to the media on Adiala Road, Salman Akram Raja said that he had spoken with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi regarding the matter. He stated that the provincial government would approve only a three-month budget paper, adding that Article 125 of the Constitution allows the presentation of a three-month budget paper.
The PTI Secretary General further said that, for the time being, this would be the course of action and only a three-month budget paper would be approved. He added that a final budget would not be presented until a meeting with the PTI founder takes place.
Salman Akram Raja also stated that if a meeting with the PTI founder is not held by June 30, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will present a three-month budget.
