During the visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir will meet key senior Iranian figures. He is also expected to meet Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei, where Iran-US talks, regional peace and other important matters will be discussed.

According to Reuters, a Qatari negotiating delegation has also reached Tehran, and a permanent ceasefire between the United States and Iran is likely soon.

Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and held detailed discussions on reducing tensions in the region and ending the war with the United States.

According to the Iranian news agency, Mohsin Naqvi discussed drafts related to ending the Iran-US war in detail during his meeting with Abbas Araghchi. The agency said both sides also reviewed ways to establish peace.

Diplomatic sources said Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi will remain in Tehran today as well and is continuing important meetings related to the US-Iran talks.
